Powell Custom Tile

After graduating from Fresno State and entering a teaching credential program at Fresno Pacific, I quickly realized that teaching was not for me (God bless you teachers out there). Shortly after this realization, my lovely wife and I purchased an older home in Kingsburg, which came with a shower with the obligatory leaking shower pan. We hired the masterful Llyod Derksen to build us a new shower and the next thing I knew I was a tile apprentice. I spent 8 years under the guidance and tutelage of Mr. Derksen and have worked in many beautiful homes, churches, and commercial buildings in the area. I took a short break to try a career at a non-profit, and have returned to tile by starting my own company. I care about the people I work for and aim to constantly exceed expectation. My goal is honest and thorough conversation to make sure my clients get exactly what they are looking for.
